Sangre Grande, Trinidad

On March 18, the Church of the Nazarene Trinidad and Tobago District commissioned one of the newest churches in the denomination, the Nazarene Holiness Centre, situated in the Northeastern Settlement in Sangre Grande, Trinidad.

District Superintendent Victor George officiated at the organizing ceremony, welcoming charter members to the global family of Nazarene congregations and installing church officers. George reminded those present of the Nazarene "DNA" and called upon church members to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to every household in the community. Pastor Earl Sampson and charter church board members pledged to carry the distinctive message of scriptural holiness across the land.

Special greetings were received from the Trinidad and Tobago District Advisory Board; the Arima Church of the Nazarene, whose members had done the pioneering evangelistic work in the community, East Zone Superintendent Nazim Mohammed; and other well-wishers.
