SNU's Peer Learning Network to feature Oklahoma sports commentators

Peer Learning Network (PLN) at Southern Nazarene University is proud to announce Brian Davis, the voice of the Oklahoma City Thunder, as the speaker for the April session of PLN Presents. Toby Rowland will serve as the moderator for this luncheon session on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at the Petroleum Club downtown Oklahoma City.
Davis is in his third season as the OKC’s Thunder television voice. Davis has called games at the professional level in three other sports: football, hockey, and soccer. As a sports anchor for CBS Radio and its Chicago all-news affiliate, Davis covered major events including the Olympics, NBA Finals, and Stanley Cup Finals.
Toby Rowland is the play-by-play voice for Oklahoma University athletics. His first appearance as the OU radio play-by-play announcer was April 16, 2011 at the Red/White Spring Football Game. Rowland is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University and has won several broadcasting honors, including a Regional Emmy award for the 2005 Orange Bowl Blitz.
Davis and Rowland will speak from 11:30 to 1 p.m. and both will be sharing their perspective on "Ethical Leadership In Professional Sports," a vital topic in this national sports capitol.
