Commission on the Nazarene Future holds first session
In 2009 a Commission on the Nazarene Future, recommended by the Board of General Superintendents, was approved during the Church of the Nazarene's General Assembly in Orlando, Florida, USA. This effort is being chaired by former Eastern Nazarene College president J. David McClung, and includes the International Church Committee recommendations for the design of a new global Manual. read more

Metcalfe elected D.S. for Pittsburgh
J. Bret Metcalfe, pastor of the Ebensburg, Pennsylvania, Lakeside Community Church of the Nazarene, was elected to the office of district superintendent of the Pittsburgh District on July 24. read more

2010 National Black Nazarene Conference report
The fifth bi-annual National Black Nazarene Conference was successfully convened at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri, July 22-25. Representing 27 districts and 44 churches, more than 900 Nazarenes came together to celebrate, learn, fellowship, strategize, resource, connect, and encourage each other. read more
